Philip Raymond Baquie, Psy.D., is the founder of Tradecraft Leadership Group. This consultancy equips leaders in high-risk environments to manage pressure, strengthen communication, and build resilient team cultures. With experience in the military, law enforcement, and private security contracting, he understands what leadership demands when failure carries significant consequences.

Philip combines psychological knowledge, operational experience, and human performance science to guide leaders in making informed decisions and acting with clarity and confidence. He has worked with teams and personnel from the Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces, U.S. Marshals, DEA, and U.S. Border Patrol. His Presilience and Human Factors Leadership frameworks focus on building communication, accountability, and decision-making before challenges arise.

Phil Baquie's work extends into writing and public engagement. He contributed a chapter to an upcoming book on leadership and wellness for first responders. He also served as a subject matter expert and cast member in the award-winning documentary PTSD911, which presents first-hand stories from a firefighter, police officer, and 9-1-1 dispatcher, highlighting the complexity of trauma and its long-term impact.

He has also completed studies in Executive Leadership Coaching at Harvard University.

With a Doctor of Psychology and operational experience in military, law enforcement, and energy settings, he combines psychological understanding with hands-on expertise. His work in 39 countries has deepened his awareness of cultural nuances while reinforcing the universal elements that shape strong teams' trust, connection, and accountability.

Philip Baquie works with executives, supervisors, and specialized units, helping them develop into leaders who create resilient teams and long-lasting organizational culture.

CEO, Alpha 6 Tactical Solutions

For more than seven years, he served as CEO of Alpha 6 Tactical Solutions. The company supported high-profile clients operating in austere environments worldwide. By protecting their surroundings and essential assets, he helped clients live and work with greater confidence. During this time, he oversaw tactical security operations and delivered over 500 training sessions to SWAT, Special Operations Forces, and U.S. Federal agencies.

Founder, Wellness Centers USA

He founded Wellness Centers USA, a multi-million-dollar behavioral health organization with two clinics and a staff of 35. He developed resilience and performance programs designed for law enforcement executives and veterans.

Military Service, U.S. Army National Guard & Reserves

Philip served eight years as a Sergeant, leading Infantry and Tactical PSYOP teams. His duties included providing leadership and adaptability training in complex operational environments.

Giving Back

He served as Executive Director of the Warrior Resilience Project, a nonprofit focused on reducing Posttraumatic Stress (PTS) among veterans. Through this organization, he offered mental and emotional performance tools to first responders and personnel in special operations.

He continues to support these communities through ongoing pro-bono coaching for veterans, first responders, and military personnel.

Education, Certifications

His academic background includes a range of disciplines. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. He later completed a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the same institution. He then earned a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Graduate Theological Foundation.

His specialized training includes Hostage and Crisis Negotiation through the Law Enforcement Risk Management Institute and a Tactical Shooting Instructor Course at the Israeli Tactical School.

Philip is a Black Belt in Karate and completed certification as a Krav Maga Law Enforcement Instructor. He also holds PEC SafeLand and H2S Card certifications, required for work in the oil, gas, and energy industries.

He is currently pursuing his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification to further strengthen his ability to streamline systems and improve performance outcomes.
